The Times Have Changed. So Have We.

The Times Have Changed. So Have We.

You know this world. Many of us grew up in it. Purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notices moving between companies. X12 and EDIFACT in production for decades. AS2 that refuses to die. The reliability burden someone always has to own. ECGrid has helped carry that work since 1999, and none of it has gone away.

What has changed is who is responsible for these connections now, and what they expect from them. The people who own B2B connectivity today are a wider group than they used to be. Some are modernizing environments that have run for twenty years without breaking trust. Some are adding B2B capability to a product for the first time. Some are integrators and partners making the same work repeatable across many customers. What they share is a new expectation: that connectivity behave like dependable infrastructure underneath the product, not a standing project that pulls attention away from it.

And the work continues to change. The world is moving toward agentic workflows, where software acts on information for a team rather than just moving it from place to place. That’s a shift we are built for. ECGrid continues to operate the network the old world depends on. It remains programmable, so the network can be put to work directly: by the teams who rely on us, and increasingly by the systems acting on their behalf. Enabling that way of working is part of how ECGrid is built today, and where we are all going.

You create the experience. We power the connections.

While you are here, take a look around. The rest of the site is the easiest way to get oriented in the new paradigm.
