It’s been a busy and productive few weeks since our last feature update and we’re excited to share our latest improvements with you. Our newest enhancements are designed to give IT teams even more power through self-service tools.

Never Stranded with ECGrid Direct File Upload
Direct connections like AS2 and SFTP are great — until they glitch. That’s why we’ve introduced a new Direct File Upload feature. Now, if your primary AS2 or SFTP connection fails, you can bypass it entirely and upload files directly from your server to the ECGrid network. This new layer of redundancy ensures you can always send files without interruption.
Proactive Alerts for External Server Issues
We don’t just monitor our own systems; we keep an eye on your trading partners’ EDI environments, too. If any endpoint is unresponsive, we’ll automatically notify our ECGrid Simplify customers about the issue while we keep sending the files until we get a successful response. Once the files are delivered, you’ll receive confirmation, giving you complete visibility every step of the way.
Enhanced Audit & Log Information
ECGrid Simplify users will see more valuable information on audit and user logs. The added details like connectivity methods, time to execute, and SFTP schedule status will facilitate full visibility, troubleshooting, and give you the data you need to make better decisions.
Disable Automated 997
Functional Acknowledgements, or 997s, are automatically generated and sent through ECGrid Simplify to confirm file reception. Businesses wishing to create their own 997s internally can now disable the automated 997s generated by ECGrid Simplify, giving them more control and flexibility.
