In the last quarter of 2025, our development efforts focused on expanding self-service autonomy, deepening ERP integration capabilities, and providing more granular control over user access. These enhancements reflect our commitment to providing an API-first, self-service EDI network that scales with your business needs and replaces the friction of legacy VANs with clarity, speed, and control.
Key New Capabilities
ECGrid Enhanced Self-Service Connectivity
We continue to focus on giving you the power to manage your B2B communications instantly, without needing a support ticket.
- Self-Service OFTP Connection Setup: We’ve introduced a new self-service feature that allows customers to establish new OFTP (ODETTE File Transfer Protocol) connections with their trading partners directly. Previously, setting up OFTP required help from support. Now, you can provision these essential connections on demand, accelerating partner onboarding and giving you full control over your secure file transfers.

- Read-Only User Authorization Level: ECGrid customers can utilize a new authorization level for their users that provides full visibility into the environment while removing the ability to add, edit, or delete configurations. This new level promotes internal collaboration and operational transparency while significantly reducing the risk of accidental changes.
ECGrid Simplify: Streamlined Workflows and Visibility
ECGrid Simplify is dedicated to making complex integration logic manageable and transparent. These updates enhance the flexibility and clarity of your data flows.
- Advanced Flow Branch Handling: We have updated the flow logic within ECGrid Simplify to provide greater flexibility and multiple branch handling within a single flow. The new interface offers enhanced visibility of each flow branch, allowing you to easily track, manage, and update sophisticated branching logic – essential for better exception handling and diverse trading partner requirements.

- Simplified Trading Partner Map Linking: We’ve added a trading partner dropdown to the main map page. This allows you to easily link partner-specific maps, reducing the number of steps required to ensure the right map is associated with the right partner quickly and accurately.

- Personalized Connected Partners View: We have refined the Connected Partners page to only display maps directly attached to your customer environment, so you see only the information and maps immediately relevant to your current operations.

- Failed Syntax Checking Improvement: Visibility is key even when data is imperfect. Users can now see and search on document identifiers such as the interchange control number when a file fails X12 syntax checking, allowing for faster troubleshooting and identification of problematic transmissions.

ECGrid Simplify Certification Program
Our innovative certification program allows customers to ensure their trading partners meet their specific EDI standards before going live. This program provides full visibility into the testing phase, including management of partner progress and automated status notifications, ensuring a seamless transition from testing to production.
