Loren Data Corp. was founded on a straightforward premise: B2B data exchange is critical infrastructure, and critical infrastructure deserves to be built and operated with the same seriousness as any other layer of the technology stack. That premise has guided more than three decades of continuous operation across the full evolution of B2B technology. From X.400 and legacy VAN interconnects through AS2, API-first design, and the modern platform ecosystem.
ECGrid is the expression of that premise in its current form. Programmable B2B infrastructure that ISVs, integrators, enterprises, and builders rely on to power the connectivity their businesses depend on. Without having to build or operate the network layer themselves. The network operates globally.

In B2B infrastructure, longevity is evidence. A network that has been operating continuously for more than three decades has been tested against things a newer platform has not. ECGrid's business model is built around enabling the success of the builders, ISVs, and platforms that run on the network. We do not sell direct to the end users that ECGrid builders serve. We do not build the application-layer products that ECGrid customers differentiate on. We provide the programmable B2B infrastructure layer, and we are designed to make everything built on top of it more capable, more reliable, and more profitable.
This is a deliberate strategic choice, and it is the reason ECGrid has maintained long-term relationships with builders and customers who could have chosen to build the network layer themselves.
